I have just reached Act 2 of Baldurs Gate 3....If you think there is nothing better then Act 1 of this game, you are in for a surprise :)

@IntelGaming I cant remember how long it took, but building my first PC with my dads help (he had prior experience) was a amazing experience. A valuable memory now that he has passed away

...just realized I have written 20,000 words in the last week with all kinds of thoughts and realizations coming out of my autism assessment and I somehow have to pick A FEW to hand in as final comments to my evaluating psychologist. Should I mention I started with 20,000???? 😂

@Player_Kay All this reflection will be worth it in the end. Just breathe in, breathe out, remember you have atleast 30 more years if not more to figure it all out, and go at your own speed :)

@AlexWealder Is it ever.. I cant keep up with the lightbulb moments spiderwebbing in my brain.. feel like the ADHD makes it even worse! Thirty years to reframe and all kinds of memories coming up I didn't know I had forgotten, buried under such shame. This process is unlike anything.

@AlexWealder yes <3 me too. have been doing simple daily/weekly tasks in mmo, getting cozy as possible and afking to lie down or stim more in my chair. like your idea about happy memory.. will picture my happy place (beach). thanks Roy

The autism assessment process is so hard. Am awaiting results with anxiety, hope & lot of confusion. Reviewed so much about my life and behaviour in it / leading up to it. Triggered at points, hit shutdown and couldn't articulate. thoughts are so swirled and was/am overwhelmed😖

@Player_Kay Good that you found your safe haven :) Also, dont think about what will be stimulating or not...that kind of judgement is usually the first casualty when overstimulated :) Return to the news another time and look at it with fresh eyes, and see what you think

so overwhelmed that even amazing ffxiv fanfest news feels like it will be way too stimulating. still, very happy for the safe haven of special interest 💜

@Player_Kay You always are <# for me I always go to some mindless gaming (something where I dont need to think much) and picture a happy memory in my mind when overstimulated, though that might not work for everyone (since everyone is unique)

but when I think about how an autistic adult in burnout would find the process, that is exactly it.. so that gives me comfort. please keep me in your thoughts. feeling very vulnerable and wrestling feelings of dread every day

@msemanko @AgeOfWonders4 Its my first Dragon Lord playthrough but it seems the best Lord Skill out of all the transformations if I read the text....Mostly the ' cant be affected by CC' part seems pretty decent.
