Ohhhhh baby! The Giants using Dart like Lamar Jackson means keeping defenses honest, using his legs to force them to spy and keep defenders in the box. I think we might see Dart dominate with the deep ball this year, esp on play action!

Tyler Nickel looks like a REAL NBA shooter already. The young core is still WILD cheap: Dart: $3.86M cap hit Nabers: $7.97M Likely: $6.09M Mooney: $3.0M Sisi: $5.63M Skattebo: $1.27M Theo: $1.28M Tracy: $1.15M Then Carter ($10.29M), Arvell ($8.70M), even Nubin ($2.23M) and Andru ($1.64M) are all still on rookie deals too. The Giants' offense looks LEGIT on paper, prob the most depth and starting OL talent we've had in over a decade! Best-case starting group: QB: Jaxson Dart RB: Cam Skattebo WR: Malik Nabers WR: Darnell Mooney WR: Calvin Austin/Malachi Fields TE: Isaiah Likely LT: Andrew Thomas LG: Jon Runyan C: John Michael Schmitz RG: Sisi Mauigoa RT: Jermaine Eluemunor Then you still have Tyrone Tracy, Theo Johnson, OBJ? and Patrick Ricard coming in depending on the package. Nabers gets the attention when he comes back. Likely works the seams/red zone. Mooney and Austin can fly. Skattebo/Tracy can punish light boxes. This isn’t a perfect offense, but there are some REALLY good pieces here. Dart has real help now.

@AlexWilsonESM He actually is killing the Yankees. With the type of money he’s making he cannot go this bad for this long with Judge out. It’s the whole reason they backed the brinks truck for him. He needs to be way better and it’s really inexcusable how bad he’s been.

Cody Bellinger isn’t killing the Yankees or anything, but 5/$162.5M means the standard is way higher. He was awesome early: .272/.841 OPS, 9 HR, 43 RBI through 67 games. Now he’s at .245/.339/.414, 113 wRC+, and .103 over his last 10. We need him to step up with Judge out.

Caballero probably isn’t the long-term answer either, but he at least gives you speed, versatility and annoying ABs.
