Can’t wait to listen to this

Terry@BlackoutGlasses
“i want to see you before we both leave” My hoe going💔💔
English

@JackJackington @Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks See we need more car people to be like you.
No one said ban cars overall. We want trains to be good so that those who dont wanna drive dont have to, which leaves more space on the road and less traffic for those who still wanna drive.
The beauty is in having a choice.
English

@Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks I love cars and trains. Trains get bored commuters off the road allowing me to actually enjoy driving.
English

@Tr0nSwans0n @Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks And I agree with you. Trains dont need to go everywhere. But trains should be in the important parts of the country.
You believe I am asking for a nationwiwde high speed rail system.
I am not. I am asking for the important city links first. Regionally.
English

@AlexZ_014 @Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks Spoken like someone without a clue of how people moved prior to cars. We are a huge, rural country and trains can't go everywhere. Go look at rail ridership stats and you see a drop in the 1920s, way before the interstate highway system
English

@Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks Sure we can say the car lobby knew exactly what americans wanted after proper research and doing their homework, and then exploited that to the best of their ability. “Freedom” and “looking cool”.
So yeah i mean thats why they loved it. Because the research findings worked
English

@AlexZ_014 @TheDuckySocks The American people loved it. It's in their nature to want freedom and the car provided that like nothing else. The car lobby just knew what they wanted and nudged them along.
English

@Kurt_Steiner @TheDuckySocks Car lobby*
Don’t say americans, that implies the american people.
We did not embrace. We fell victim to advertising and lobbying and therefore we were convinced. And brainwashed to an extent
English

@TheDuckySocks Cars. They really hate cars. Because Americans embraced them like no one else in the world.
English

@melon2wise @S3RV1NG_ appreciate u bro boutta tweet the March one rn. stay tuned
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 So you keep moving goalposts. Anyways
ppl drive bc that’s what we gave em. doesn’t mean a stadium district built around transit/plazas cant work differently.
some ppl always drive, fine. the question is whether 200 acres of asphalt is the ONLY way to support a pregame culture.
English

@AlexZ_014 @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 People drive long and far to attend events, which include RVs and larger vehicles. And get this, teams/owners charge money for parking and people will gladly pay it. Ching, Ching. You obviously have never hosted a tailgate with food, drinks and people.
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 ur assuming tailgating has to be built around a car trunk. If u design plazas with vendors, grill stations, and storage, people dont need to haul everything themselves.
English

@AlexZ_014 @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Yeah people cook at parks, beaches and festivals have cars to put their stuff in. You take a subway/bus to the stadium, you aren't cooking because you aren't lugging a cooler to the stadium, and not bringing it in the stadium during the game.
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Small grills, public grill stations, vendors, shared spaces. Tailgating doesn’t disappear just because you reduce asphalt
People cook at parks, beaches, and festivals without tailgating lots all the time
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Coolers fit on trains and buses too. We only think they require a car because we’ve designed the experience around parking lots
If 70k people can get to a game, they can figure out how to carry a cooler. We’ve just normalized 200 acres of asphalt as the current solution 😭
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Tailgating is social, other stadiums have ways where people eat + have fun before a game.
Parking doesn't have to be everywhere in a big city. Manhattan <40% of residents own cars
Like I said, designate open areas where u can cook out. Just don't need the car. Rail/busses
English

@AlexZ_014 @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 You need both even for a big city, and without the parking you take away the tailgating experience which is now ingrained in the culture.
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 I live in the real world where i see the current state of affairs. Something needs to change. You and I live in a country where everyone believes the only way to get around is cars.
Your 2nd thought was "where do we park" when it's a big city, not some random suburb
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Wipe out the lots but save a section of those spaces for people to hang out.
Stadium provides grill and seating and open space for people without the necessity of cars.
It's just insane to look at a map of a stadium and see all that empty space half the time. Waste
English

@AlexZ_014 @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 Big ass parking lots are a necessary evil bro. And it makes Tailgating perfect for many people.
English

@BestBallJunkie @BallCoach_Nate @Off_The_Hook3 No tailgating is fun and is a great social activity but its the big ass parking lot shit thats bad.
Basically tailgating is something good that came out of something bad.
