@wrestling_VI I don’t get what anyone has ever seen in Cody. Seems like a super good dude in real life, but as a performer he’s so vanilla.

@TheDrainmaker These are amazing! Moxley/Takeshita is self explanatory. FTR/Bucks is Heat. What are the other two?

Ive seen some of the answers to why WWE fans won’t watch AEW and alot of the answers is it’s because it’s too much wrestling to consume Not for nothing, just switch to AEW and you got dynamite, collision, and the PPVs

@Johntheduncan I don't understand why Harry is so reviled. He's not any worse a person than the rest of the guys. He just doesn't hide it. He's also really good at his job - a trailblazer in many respects. He was right about Joan. While he was working his ass off she was just working dat ass.

At the start of Mad Men Harry seems like one of the nicer sleazeballs in the office. By season 7 I think he's the most repulsive character on the show

Footage of an explosion so powerful it seemed to temporarily turn off gravity This is Cannikin, a 5 megaton device detonated underground in Alaska in 1971 It was 400 times more powerful than "Little Boy" dropped on Hiroshima during World War II

@bisexual_raven @timecaptales Interesting. What happens to the radiation? Does it just dissipate over time? Does it contaminate the ground and water above?

@LandsknechtPike Probably a stupid question, but how would they have been transported? The overland or by sea? Seems like overland would involve crossing a lot of arid desert, no?

Interesting fact: Water buffalos are not native to Mesopotamia but were traded from the Indus Valley around 2500 BC. In the hot summer months, they could spend 10-12 hours wallowing in water to cool down due to extremely hot temperatures in the region. 🐃 A chill lifestyle.

To survive in such environment, the Marsh Arabs traditionally depended on raising water buffalos which are found in these marshes. They also cultivated rice and other crops.

@snitchin_bubs @b0redidentity @CaudilloXIV Interesting insight. I wasn’t one of those who interpreted the ending so cynically. I was surprised so many people did. Though I understand why. I saw it as Don trying to do some good in the world the only way he knows how—through advertising.

@AlexZed85 @b0redidentity @CaudilloXIV People, myself included, see the final scene of the show as darkly funny, but it’s important to remember that Matthew Weiner believes the “I’d Like to Buy the World a Coke” ad is genuinely pure. We can all interpret it how we want, but it’s not an intentionally cynical ending.

@snitchin_bubs @b0redidentity @CaudilloXIV This is a great take. I agree! You probably know this, but that meek guy’s name is Leonard, which is an anagram for Real Don. Man, this show was brilliant!
