Anthropic drops Claude 4.7, and yeah, it's good. But let's be real: it doesn't feel that different from 4.6. Honestly, it just feels like they stealth-nerfed 4.6 last month so this new release would look like a bigger leap.
But here is the real issue: what is the point of releasing these shiny new models if the API credits drain so fast you can't even run a basic test session?
You spend 10 minutes debugging, hit the quota wall, and get locked out. Are we paying for AI access or just renting 5 prompts a day?

Can we talk about what Pearl Abyss is actually doing with Crimson Desert?
Instead of dropping a broken 20FPS mess and tweeting a yellow apology jpeg like every AAA studio since Cyberpunk, they launched a massive, stable open world and are dropping massive patches weekly. They even took a community movement glitch and patched it into an official skill.
It’s almost like delivering a finished game actually works for sales. What was the last massive AAA launch that genuinely didn't need 6 months of patches just to become playable for you?

The current state of AI for developers is painful right now.
You either use Claude 4.7—which writes flawless logic but eats your API quotas so fast you can't even finish a complex debugging session... Or you use Gemini 3.1 Pro, which has massive context firepower but completely ignores your instructions, gets lazy, and hallucinates fake code. It's like owning a bazooka that refuses to shoot where you aim it.
Are we just stuck choosing between instant API bankruptcy or rebellious AI at this point? What's your setup right now?

Anthropic drops Opus 4.7 today and the timeline goes wild. But everyone is ignoring the real story: they've had 'Claude Mythos' running for over a week and locked it away behind cybersecurity protocols because it's apparently too powerful for the public.
While independent devs are out here fighting against API throttling just to debug basic logic, the true frontier models are being gatekept for corporate and defense contracts.
It makes you wonder: at what point do independent developers permanently lose parity with big tech corporations just because of AI access restrictions?

Anthropic just dropped Claude 4.7 and yeah, the reasoning and benchmarking capabilities for deep coding are absolute witchcraft.
But honestly? It doesn't even matter.
Claude Code burns through credits and quotas so absurdly fast that you can't even finish a complex debugging session before hitting the wall. And the devs are completely ignoring the community complaining about it. 💀
What's the point of having the smartest AI in the room if it goes to sleep after 5 requests? Anyone else already bankrupting their API limits today? 👇

@AIGrowthCoach Exactly. Vision is cheap, execution is what actually burns solo devs out. If I don't have to manually keyframe femur rotations for 3 hours, I can spend that time writing better C++ logic. That's the real win.
