GM Skaliens! This week, we had another exciting FAIR demo, showcasing Committee Rotation. 🔥
Meanwhile, here’s what our dev team has been up to over the past two weeks.

Stan @Stan_Kladko worked on SIM-card integration spec for FAIR.
D3 @rikon_azane fixed snapshot downloading functionality for FAIR and supported the committee rotation demo.
Polina @PKiporenko prepared development updates for the FAIR phases, supported coordination of the SKALE Testnet migration, and worked on documentation and roadmap planning.
D1 @dmtkatwork designed and implemented the core modules for committee rotation on Fair, including a working demo of the entire flow, also implemented a dashboard with Fair network overview.
Alex @Alex_Sheverdin added new features and updates to FAIR node provisioning and migrated the testnet monitoring to the Hoodi network.
Inês @ines_skale_, has started working on Portal 4.1.1. She fixed some UI elements from the previous version and began implementing A/B testing for the CTA banner, which will be the main feature of this release.
D2 @DmytroStebaiev improved DKG smart contracts to support a committee rotation.
Vadim @yavrsky added predeployed contracts for native gas token feature.
Eduardo @eduardo34203919 performed migration of all SKALE testnet smart-contracts from Holesky to Hoodi. He is now focusing on FAIR smart-contract tasks.
Oleh @olehskl completed committee rotation implementation and epoch id validation for BITE transactions.
Ivan @Ivan3423145 made various infrastructure components changes to support committee rotation.
Sidnei @sidneitex worked on data field RLP-encoding for BITE transactions on consensus side, and has been working on rejection of pre-EIP155 transactions for FAIR.
Sasha 1 @SemiDennisJJ, over the past 2 weeks, together with Andrii has been fully focused on testing the BITE protocol, especially on identifying bottlenecks in the performance. Also, together with Sasha2 and Eduardo, he checked the migration of testnet contracts from Holesky to Hoodi.
Sasha 2, over the last two weeks, was working on migration of testnet to Hoodi network. He also updated ssl certificates on mainnet and testnet.
Andrii @andriiliutak was working on automation tests, updating structure and collecting the performance metrics.
Karina @karina_yavorska wrote some automated tests for Fair Manager contracts and prepared for сommittee rotation testing.
Manel @0xTheBarbarian contributed to three distinct projects utilizing the new BITE protocol plugin to demonstrate encrypted transactions at the consensus level. Additionally, he collaborated with several SKALE dApps to help bring them live on SKALE Chains.

This update photo shows our morning meetings, along with a new team member, Andrii. Welcome to the SKALE team, Andrii! 🎉
Stay tuned for updates on what our dev team has been doing these past two weeks.
Stan competed 70% of BITE prototype.
D3 created a POC of a browser script using the BITE protocol. Coordinated the 3.1.2 release and got 4.0 into beta testing.
Polina facilitated scope planning for the upcoming Portal release. She has also contributed to network release planning and worked on the strategy for development milestones.
D1 worked with node infrastructure team to fully integrate the skale-contracts library across all node components - admin, bounty agent, IMA agent, and node-cli. D1 coordinated development, helped with testing setup, and worked on the implementation.
Inês worked on Portal 4.1, specifically on a ticket to maintain the scroll position across pages, with support from D1. She also updated the JSON file with the new dApps in the Portal. Additionally, Inês collaborated with our validators regarding the Ubuntu upgrade and planned the schedule for the 3.1.2 and 4.0 Presidio upgrades. She would like to inform everyone that the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 is now complete. 🔥
André continued work on integrating dynamic contract ABI fetching into Skale infrastructure components, with the help of D1. Finished core parts and started end to end testing!
Alex set up monitoring IMA, archive nodes and state root monitoring for QA test network. Assisted with monitoring and supporting the Mainnet update to release v3.1.1, which has been successfully completed 🚀
Ivan supported the 3.1.1 mainnet upgrade resolving ongoing issues.
Oleh prepared the first draft implementation of js library to be used with BITE protocol.
Sidnei has been working on refactoring part of the libBLS code to make it more organized and easier to use, improving abstraction for a smoother experience. He also made small updates in SGX wallet, resulting in slight performance improvements.
D2 developed smart contracts to improve orchestration of nodes in the network.
Vadim worked on preparing for migration to new version of explorer, also already upgraded blockscout on qa legacy network.
Eduardo, while still onboarding, has been working on improving skale-contracts library, fixing issues and improving solidity code in skale-manager, and also actively researching and deepening knowledge of solidity for future updates.
Sasha 1, over the past 2 weeks, completed preparation for Skale 4.0 Presidio Release testing and worked on Indexer, Historic, Sync nodes setup. Also, he was prepared the onboarding procedure for a new QA team member. Welcome aboard, Andrii! 🌊🌊🌊
Sasha 2 worked on upgrading our QA testing network to 4.0 beta versions and supported our current mainnet and testnet infrastructure.
Vova with other QA members worked on the improvements of test automation procedures.
Andrii, in the past two weeks, was deep into SKALE onboarding. He learned a lot about Skale components and the Blockchain in general. Andrii thanks the team for helping him in his onboarding process.
Karina finished testing Portal 4.0 and started learning how metrics collectors work, specifically how they get data from Blockscout.
Manel worked on the SKALE documentation improvement. On top of that, he kept working with over 35 projects to go-live on the several SKALE Chains.
Nata actively engaged with projects in the testnet phase, offering support to facilitate a smooth transition and a successful deployment on the SKALE Mainnet.

Stan @Stan_Kladko spent two weeks working on SKALE major new partner project. Also he designed new tests for 3.1 performance improvements.
D3 @rikon_azane coordinated 3.0.1 release preparations & rollout. The new update brings enhanced compatibility with Ethereum! Also, together with @yavrsky finalized the last steps for our new blockexplorer 2.1.0.
Polina @PKiporenko facilitated the finalization of Portal Release 3.0, which includes a new Ecosystem page, trending dApps, likes, and many cool features 🚀portal.skale.space/ecosystem
In the meantime, Polina worked on organizing several ongoing SKALE releases 🙌
Inês @ines_skale_ over the past few weeks, made posts for the marketing team for Skale Devs' Twitter, helped with an internal presentation, and assisted D1 with the portal. This involved collecting metadata for apps and games and converting them into a new format. Additionally, she created screen recordings and screenshots of the latest portal version.
D1 @dmtkatwork finished development of the SKALE Portal v3 release! He deployed 3 servers for collecting likes data, fixed bugs in sign-in with Ethereum flow, added ranking for dApps on SKALE, and updated the Home page.
Ivan @Ivan3423145 completed flexible chain storage allocation, fixed ongoing minor bugs, and prepared release versions for 3.0.1.
D2 @DmytroStebaiev completed preparing new versions of paymaster and skale-manager to support SKALE chain pricing v2 release. All new features are implemented and known issues are fixed.
Vadim @yavrsky finalized versions for blockscout, blockscout-frontend, skale-explorer. Succesfully migrated block explorers to version 2.1.0 on QA network.
Alex @Alex_Sheverdin has made significant changes in both SKALE Mainnet and Testnet ELK servers configuration and implemented swap memory limit monitoring of SKALE nodes.
Oleh @olehsk completed the first draft the new rotating historic state - a lot of testing and code improvements ahead.
D4 @skale_d4 cleaned some remaining debug information from skaled, prepared a test network for performance testing, fixed builds of some skaled-related side tools.
Evgeniy @EugeneSkale has been working on finalization of testing of Portal version 3 and Skale version 3.0.1. The full IMA testing cycle is coming to an end.
Sasha 1 @SemiDennisJJ has been working on improving and increasing test coverage, and has also completed work on stats metrics collection for load tests.
Sasha 2 added several predeployed contracts to skale-contracts python package and started work on improving our performance testing infrustructure spinup scripts.
Nastya @stuitsme completed Portal V3 testing, covering new key functionalities with all critical issues resolved. Nastya also has started Schain Pricing testing, focusing on bug fixing and new upgrade procedures.
Manel @ManelBarbasSKL collaborated with 23 projects and partners on their SKALE Testnet and Mainnet deployments. The support encompassed contract reviews, solutions architecture for smart contracts and user experience, as well as codebase evaluations.
Olha @Olhazherdzitska has been responsible for managing and maintaining the stable operation of our organization's cloud infrastructure. Her duties included optimizing cloud resources to improve system performance and scalability. Additionally, Olha has been updating the relevant documentation.
Nata @NatashaSheverd1 started transitioning to the DevSuccess department to provide even better support and coordination of existing and prospective projects on SKALE.
