@SonicHero3D Yes. People want to make out like the Remake it stretched out and padded but for me it’s the other way round. The OG was a great game for its time but it was limited by the tech of the time. In the Remake you feel the weight of events more because they are given room to breath.

Alright, I'm now 10 hours into FF7. I know it's the OG, and the Remake does things differently. But in a weird way, OG feels like an ABRIDGED version of the story to me. Moments and pacing are faster...and I kind of don't like that. I still think OG FF7 is pretty great so far.

@__darktemplar__ @LuLuTheGoth They’re definitely doing a whole lot better now that they’re available on all platforms. Being a bit of a ps fanboy I was kind of glad when they came to ps first but honestly it hurt them kind of a lot. Especially because Switch is easily number 1 in Japan.

@KaizenYumi Hi thanks for your message and interest. For now I am just looking to connect with different artists that might be interested. Don’t yet have a budget or deadlines etc as it’s very early days. I’m hoping that soon I can at least get some character work done for music videos.

@Mona21323561454 Thanks for your reply! I don’t have a solidly defined art direction however I’m leaning toward a kind of stylised realism. Definitely nothing too photo realistic though.

While many people think Evie looks much younger, it is totally possible for Asian girls to have this kind of appearance at 23 (the age inferred in a recent interview with Shift Up) especially with short hair. When you’re working on a cover of a video game song and suddenly the prog fan in you takes the wheel and suddenly the song is double the length, includes a bunch of references to other tracks from the game, double time sections and some stupidly over the top outro with solos.

The Meteor downgrade is absolutely insane in FFVII Revelation. The foreboding shot with the sun setting sky sold the horrifying presence of this celestial body coming to decimate the world It being first shown in FFVIIR under a bright blue sky is pathetic. It's not even that big. This should be like the OG FFVII or Majora's Mask, that menacing presence that cannot be escaped from looking at the sky, it should taint the colors as a constant reminder of the impending doom. It should be big enough to take up a significant portion of the view of the sky. Like so many other things in this trilogy, the important elements that made FFVII what it was continue to be neutered and underdelivered. Sad!
