En ma qualité d'avocat et dès mes premiers mois d'exercice, j'ai eu à contester de nombreuses décisions prises par lui et sa municipalité, toutes déclarées illégales. En décembre 2013, j'obtiens gain de cause pour un agent de sûreté de l'aéroport de Nice qui a perdu son habilitation après un Selam Alikom. En juillet 2014, le maire de Nice interdit les drapeaux étrangers de la voie publique pendant la coupe du monde. Son arrêté ne tiendra pas 72h. En janvier 2015, j'assiste le jeune Ahmed 8 ans, envoyé par son école au commissariat pour "apologie d'acte de terrorisme" à un âge où l'on ne comprend même pas ce que ça veut dire. MM. Estrosi et Ciotti apporteront leur soutien à cet établissement scolaire. En juillet 2016, Nice et toutes les villes de la côte d'Azur prendront un arrêté pour interdire les femmes voilées sur la plage. Tous ces arrêtés seront attaqués par le cabinet et annulés, les uns après les autres. Plus proche, en janvier 2023, le maire de Nice interdit la venue d'un écrivain suisse sur des prétextes fallacieux. J'obtiendrai la suspension de son arrêté en 48h. En janvier 2024, le maire de Nice refusera de retirer la dizaine de drapeaux israéliens mis sur le fronton du bâtiment de la mairie. Je saisirai la justice en demandant qu'ils soient retirés. CE qui ne sera fait qu'après l'injonction du nouveau Préfet des Alpes-Maritimes. Le même mois, je saisirai la justice après les propos indécents du maire qualifiant les victimes civiles de Gaza de "bébés en plastiques". En mars 2024, la librairie Iqra située rue Marceau est fermée par la Préfecture. A nouveau l'arrêté ne tiendra pas 72h et sera suspendu après l'intervention du cabinet. En 2024, nous gagerons également pour le Collège Avicenne à Nice d'abord en référé puis au fond. A l'époque le maire déclarera qu'il est la preuve d'un "séparatisme à l'œuvre partout". La justice lui donnera tort encore une fois. Cette décision sera confirmée par la Cour administrative d'appel de Marseille en septembre 2025. En 13 ans d'exercice de la profession d'avocat, je me suis fait un honneur de toujours défendre le droit et la justice, surtout lorsque les règles sont malmenées par des hommes politiques démagogiques. Maintenant que l'ère Estrosi est définitivement terminée, je ne crois pas que le mandat qui s'ouvre avec la coalition de la droite et du Rassemblement national soit forcément plus apaisé. Parce que l'état de droit nécessite une vigilance permanente, je souhaite que tous les démocrates et les humanistes maintiennent un haut niveau d'exigence morale. Nice est la cinquième ville de France, elle est scrutée et doit toujours rester libre et humaine.

This is wild. 143 million people thought they were catching Pokémon. They were actually building one of the largest real-world visual datasets in AI history. Niantic just disclosed that photos and AR scans collected through Pokémon Go have produced a dataset of over 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation AI for delivery robots. Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, storefronts, parks, and sidewalks from every angle, at every time of day, in lighting and weather conditions that staged photography would never capture. They documented the physical world at a scale no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could have replicated on the same timeline or budget. Niantic collected this systematically, data point by data point, across eight years, while users thought the only thing at stake was catching a rare Charizard. The most valuable AI training datasets in the world aren't being assembled in data centers. They're being built by people who have no idea they're building them.
