I bought books my first semester, realized my Law school library had all the required books plus a giant scanner/printer and never bought a book again!

Being on the other side (the student side) of law school is an experience. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t realize how ridiculously expensive books had gotten. Even with used books, could be close to $1000 this semester. That’s criminal (pun intended)!

@wasserman_matt After singas debacle, that would be great. I could see Hochul going a more progressive route, but wouldnt be surprised if it went the other way in the wake of the gun issues. I think it weirdly leaves room for "tough on crime" to become a "progressive" stance...
