A 400-460% fare hike on the Ceiba-Vieques-Culebra ferry is unacceptable. I led my colleagues in calling on the Federal Transit Administration to review this proposal and ensure it complies with federal law. This ferry is the only public transportation link between these islands and the mainland of Puerto Rico. We cannot allow costs to skyrocket and put access, equity, and local economies at risk.

Bard College President Leon Botstein maintained a personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Botstein is mentioned thousands of times in the Epstein files. After Epstein's 2008 conviction, Botstein still welcomed him onto Bard College's campus. Students will not accept this.
