A lot of people are skeptical about bagworking and don’t see the benefits. They don’t believe it’s worth it anymore and feel like it has no value impact. I totally get this tbh and I understand why people can’t be bothered anymore. For me it’s different and let me explain why I’m such an advocate of bagworking. I started in this space around 1,5 years ago. Basically started with a few sol and a dream. I was a noob, naive and got scammed multiple times. Lost a lot on “paid” privates and got farmed to death. It was so hard to meet people who didn’t try to farm me all the time. That’s why I decided to join a community project to meet people. I quickly realized that once you’re part of a community it’s much easier to build connections since you’re all working towards the same goal. By just showing up every day, people will eventually recognize you. If you put in effort and time they will also trust and respect you. When you experience all the ups and downs together you’ll eventually build a type of brotherhood. I finally felt I belonged somewhere and this made me confident. The friends I made from that first community are STILL my friends today and will always have a special place in my heart. From there I started to join more projects and always worked my ass off. There were weeks where I would sleep 2-3 hours on average. I wanted to win so badly and always worked harder than anyone else and exactly because of that reason I started to build a reputation. People knew they could trust me, but also knew they could count on me. I got invited to many chats and everyone tried to get me on their team. All my bagworking finally started to pay off and helped me build an amazing network. In this space where information is so important a good network is so important. My ability to bagwork has given me so many opportunities and connections and that’s why I preach it all day. It gives the average person without any skills a chance in this space. Bagworking is about bringing value to a project. This could be by spreading awareness, or helping to create content. Anything you do to help the project is basically bagworking. I totally understand that nobody wants to bagwork in this market. It’s exhausting, frustrating and stressful (especially on red days). But that’s exactly why people who still bagwork are getting noticed. When you do something that’s hard people will respect you. I want to position myself for success and build a strong reputation in this market, so that when the bull market returns, I can finally reap the rewards of my efforts. This is also the reason why I don’t rug or farm my followers because it took so much effort to build my reputation. I will never risk it. I roundtripped multiple 6 figs bags just to protect my reputation. So yeah I look at bagworking differently than most people because my goals are focused on longterm. For me it’s a way to make a name for myself in this space. This is also the main reason why I’m so stubborn and not willing to give up on Kilroy. I’ll most likely work myself into a depression before I’m willing to give up on Kilroy. If you made it this far, thanks for reading my TED Talk haha!
