@Reave For me its all the random encounters in friendly lobbies that makes me come back. Helping a random player get the loot the need. Saving someone with a stim. Killing big arcs together. Talking to randoms and helping out. Its a fun experience. Loot is secondary atm.

any chance that this “high-value loot” can only be obtained in high-ABMM PVP lobbies? nothing about an item that drops in a friendly PVE lobby screams “high-value” especially when it’s much easier to extract with, and obtain, with nobody shooting back or fighting for it

@GamesRadar Cry me a river. Mounts are ok but the game shines with combat. Thats why I purchased it. My story mount is awesome and quickly leveled up just by riding. I am sure they will patch it soon, don’t need to make a fuss about it. @CrimsonDesert_

Jean Theory Falls Apart After the Trailer 🚨 The leaks contradict themselves. She wasn’t being hunted she was already captured, and the attack actually frees her. Damage Control isn’t against Spider-Man, they’re working together. And somehow, she ends up invading Peter’s house? But the biggest issue is her powers. It doesn’t look like telepathy it looks like she’s transferring her consciousness into other bodies. Now yes, Jean can do that but why would she? -If she’s telepathic, it makes way more sense for her to control people remotely instead of jumping body to body and doing everything herself. -And why possess an old woman, cause chaos with a tank in New York, try to kill Spider-Man… and then just escape? -This doesn’t feel like Jean at all. Even without Xavier, her personality here feels completely off compared to the comics. And honestly, I don’t see Marvel introducing her as a villain before even touching the Phoenix story.

@nikos_on_yt A lot of the conversation around the game is so annoying. "Its great and if u dont like its an ego thing or IQ thing" other side is "it fucking sucks, yall are stupid if you enjoy it". When its simple. Enjoy the game or not. But please! Dont. Trust. Bungie.

After playing Marathon for 30 hours I can confirm the major arguments used by the bandwagon to trash the game are false: - "PvP is too rare" - I get 1-5 fights per match, averaging around 2 fights per game - "It's Concord 3" - Solid niche audience that returns day by day, also hit top sellers list on steam - "The AI is too difficult" - Literally you're just bad at shooters - "the UI sucks" - wait actually this one's valid Marathon is good and those who want to see it fail didn't play it, and rarely point at valid criticism. Instead they rally around some claims of being on a moral high ground or spam steamcharts. A lot of the Marathon hate online is in bad faith.

@AirwingMarine I wonder if it could be more about how bungie treated their community in the last years and not about ego. I mean just look at how players felt after getting lied too and products taken away by bungie. Isnt that why the hate is so loud and actually a bit understandable?

I wonder how many people are never going to "enjoy" Marathon simply because of their ego? They went full in on the hate. They are the types of folks that can never admit they were wrong... So they are going to miss out on an awesome experience simply cause of that.

@TauCetiGG I love the game don’t get me wrong, but this is starting to seem like it’s intentional. Same thing happened in arc raiders with skin prices being high, it’s almost as if there doing this on purpose so they can either get away with it or look good for lowering prices :/

@the_abduco @Chrizmo__ I think the biggest problem is the players (like me), that put thousands of hours into destiny. We been burned too many times by bungie. They promise so much and give so little. The animations and gunplay is 1:1 of destiny. It looks lazy. The gameplay feels like destiny. Its bad.

@Chrizmo__ I personally don't understand, I think the art is phenominal and its an environment i'd enjoy playing in. Its just one of those weird things man, its like you either love it or hate it. I haven't seen an in between.

How can anyone look at this and think it’s going to flop, seriously? Looks so unique compared to anything else out there right now, so hyped!
