We had a great morning at Messy Church at St Marks Marks Gate @chelmsdio making gingerbread nativity sets 🙏

Sad to see @EntertainerToys now opening on Sundays after the Christian owner initially set himself apart from the consumer and profit driven motivations to trade on the sabbath.

We had a fantastic inaugural church weekend away as the Ascension Collier Row and St Mark’s Marks Gate @chelmsdio all the way to St Osyth. We made steps towards thinking strategically for our next season as sister churches and trained our young people to lead services! 🙏

We used eggs, chocolate eclairs, jam doughnuts,pizza and Battenberg to explore some heresies in our Trinity Sunday service. Lots of “yes, BUT”, great questions from the congregation, and exploring divine community into which God calls us and creates us to be a part 🙏 @chelmsdio

At St Mark’s and The Ascension @chelmsdio we made Pentecost crowns and sang in French, Spanish, Igbo, Twi, Swahili and of course English!!

So pleased to be starting @biblesociety The Bible Course today. This is our Monday group, but we also have a Wednesday and a Sunday group! @chelmsdio
