O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), anulou a eliminação de um candidato com nanismo do concurso para delegado da Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG). A decisão determina que a Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), banca organizadora, realize um novo Teste de Aptidão Física (TAF) com critérios adaptados. Matheus Menezes Matos, de 25 anos, foi desclassificado por não atingir a distância mínima de 1,65 metro no salto horizontal, apesar de ter sido aprovado nas fases teóricas. A FGV e a PCMG defenderam a regra do edital, alegando que a aptidão física é essencial para a função policial. Na decisão, Moraes destacou que a exigência genérica fere os princípios de inclusão e dignidade humana, além de violar um precedente do STF. Segundo o ministro, não houve demonstração de que o desempenho específico no salto seja indispensável para o cargo de delegado. Com a medida, a banca examinadora deverá redefinir os parâmetros da prova de salto horizontal para garantir a acessibilidade. Após a definição dos novos critérios, o candidato será submetido a um novo teste para poder continuar no certame. A FGV informou que aguarda a intimação formal para tomar as medidas cabíveis.
