@PetrifiedCtfsh @MistyKoolSavion Transphobes rlly try and say kids cant be nonbinary, meanwhile at 10 years old I daydreamed about what life could be like as a boy because i hated being seen as a girl and being seen as a boy, while still felt wrong, felt slightly better. Thats also when I chose the name Alex.

@Rocks_Pigpatch @PetrifiedCtfsh @MistyKoolSavion I didn't know what it was when I was younger (as in below 14), but I always knew that there was something off about how I viewed my gender. Nobody implanted that into my head, I just didn't have the words to express what I was feeling and that lead to years of confusion

@AlexisNookk @ibannyne It's still not canon. That's literally the point of yumeshipping. A gay self insert can ship themselves with a straight character. And it still won't changed. Even if their sexuality aren't confirmed. They're straight or ace by default.

@LycanFdad @ibannyne Except Fiction very much DOES affect reality, even if you dont realize it. And while you can be mindful of the media you consume to help combat that, denying the real harm that can come from your actions isnt being mindful, youre just ignoring it for the sake of your ship

@AlexisNookk @ibannyne Fiction only affects realty if you started seeing it as one. There's a reason why GRRM fans are in chaos because of this. There's a reason why people are very honest about their opinion when it comes to fiction. Because it's not real and won't affect anything else

@PenryPoinkus nobody is saying canon is going to change, canon doesnt have to change for you to be erasing representation. its like if you whitewashed a character whos a poc. canon doesn't change, but representation is still blatantly erased.
