@postmodernadv Something totally overlooked about this era is that it brought stories and settings you don't usually see in games, then or now. Adventure games are still unmatched on unique environments and vibes.

After the “official end” of the adventure game genre in the mainstream with Gabriel Knight 3 in 1999, Europe kept the flame alive until the indie boom we are experiencing today. I love this era and hope it doesn’t fall into oblivion. ⬇️

Pero no dejo de ver una industria cada vez más cobarde. Resi9 es un juegazo, pero te da todas las opciones de cámara, personajes y terror/acción para que nadie se enfade. Life is Strange prácticamente resucita a Chloe. Los remakes son una forma de no fallar...

En gustos, los jugadores funcionamos un poco como las IAs, solo podemos opinar de aquello que previamente conocemos. Por ello, nunca he visto del todo bien que se nos pregunte tanto qué queremos en un videojuego. Lo que queremos es, precisamente, lo desconocido.

Me sigue haciendo gracia que la gente se tire de los pelos porque la diferencia de un juego entre una plataforma y otra es de 2 frames por segundo o de unos pocos píxels de resolución Cuando era crío, las diferencias entre tener el juego en una plataforma u otra eran así
