There's the absolute tiniest, most miniscule, most infinitesimal part of me that feels bad for Lange. He area of expertise is identifying young talents, which he has had some success in. He was then plunged into a much bigger role through circumstances beyond his control. However... he position is untenable. This level of failure is unsurvivable and, due to the major role he played in that, he should be immediately dismissed.

@swspurs @JaiP72 Its about the ambition of the project. Newcastle still managed to sign Bruno G, Tonali, Gordon, Isak etc when they started with more attractive clubs around than them when they started theirs. PSR put the brakes on them in a way it wont with us. Need a top well connected DoF.

Our best academy grads since Kane have been Skipp Winks & Tanganga. Our owners are clueless whereas the Kroenkes own multiple winning teams. This isn't a quick fix.

@swspurs @ChampionshipYid We finished above Arsenal 4 years ago.. In that time theyve managed to win the league based on ambition and smart recruitment. No reason we cant do the same if theres a genuine will to do it from those above.

A. Spurs south stand alone is bigger than their whole stadium B. Bournemouth have never won a major trophy in their whole existence. C. Iraola is also leaving (For the record I’ve got NOTHING against Bournemouth, they’re a good club. I respect their fans and style of ball)

Don’t forget whilst the inquest soon begins for the board, our ‘Supporters’ Trust’ very nearly got us relegated. They lobbied against the hiring of RDZ and wanted, in their words, ‘someone who understands the club’. A decision that would’ve cost us £200m and our foreseeable future. Absolutely not fit for purpose. A disgrace.

Robertson where we currently sit is a no brainer. Issue is where we sit. In an ideal world you want to be a club letting go of players at this stage of their careers but we're back at ground zero. Years off playing in the CL again and even then it means doing everything right.
