Wakenya sio wajinga 😂 we know their plans 😂

I agree with you CS @kipmurkomen. In those days they said; “Moi MUST GO!”, “Kibaki TOSHA”, “Uhuru JAMBA ya RURIRI”, and now “Ruto MUST GO.” During Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta eras, even when fuel prices went up, you would think Kenya had discovered a different version of peace, no demonstrations, no burning of property, just calm acceptance and a collective “life must go on.” It is almost fascinating how today, the same political environment suddenly finds urgency, matches, and tyres whenever prices shift, as if public reaction has become seasonal depending on who is in power.

@Naomikibandi Kumbe kuenda shule ni muhimu!! Do you understand what it means for the economy to collapse 😂😂😂 eti 15 Billion 😂

Before pushing fuel prices to unprecedented levels, did the government think through critical interventions such as reducing or even temporarily suspending some of the taxes cushioning Kenyans and businesses from the shock?
Ruto keeps insisting that his administration is creating jobs, often citing figures that are far removed from KNBS data. Yet in reality, the government is undermining the very drivers of economic growth and employment creation.
Placing diesel at 242 bob has far reaching consequences across the economy. Diesel powers machines in factories, construction sites, farms, transport systems and supply chains. Once fuel costs rise this sharply, the cost of production and doing business inevitably goes up.
Manufacturers are forced to spend more to run machinery and transport goods, farmers spend more on production and distribution, public transport operators increase fares, small businesses struggle to survive and investors become hesitant. And when businesses can no longer sustain operating costs, expansion slows, jobs are frozen and layoffs begin.
You cannot claim to champion job creation while simultaneously making it more expensive to produce, transport, manufacture and run businesses.

I’ve just watched a shocking clip of Kipchumba Murkomen trying to reduce the anger of matatu drivers to tribal politics.
According to him, they are protesting today because William Ruto is president, but stayed silent under Uhuru Kenyatta.
Really?
Fuel was around 135KSh under Uhuru Kenyatta.
Today it's 242, and people shouldn't protest because Ruto is president?
English

@C_NyaKundiH People burning vehicles, beating up fellow citizens and destroying properties is what you call a peaceful demonstration. Police have the cardinal duty to protect lives and properties and restore order!! We don't care even if those Kikuyu goons are kissed by the bullets.

This matatu strike is not a policing issue.... It is an economic issue.
Kenyans are protesting fuel prices, cost of living and a government that has refused to listen.
Security chiefs must stay out of this and stop being used as political shields for Kenya Kwanza’s economic failure.
When police rush to threaten citizens before leaders even address the grievance, it raises a serious question.... is some of the violence and chaos we have seen today planned, allowed, encouraged or exploited so the regime can hide behind “security” instead of confronting the economic pain?
Ruto and his government must face Kenyans directly.
You cannot raise fuel prices, ignore the suffering, then send commanders to speak in the language of force.
Security chiefs are not elected leaders.
Let them maintain lawful order, not manage political anger on behalf of a failed regime.

English

Today’s matatu strike has exposed just how unstable Ruto’s regime has become.
The country is angry from every corner, and instead of listening, the government only knows how to threaten, dismiss and deploy force.
After Raila Odinga’s death, Ruto has lost the one political buffer that helped him. What remains now is the gun, that is why this evening Kenyans are being lectured by security chiefs.
Never before has a leader been this badly exposed.... surrounded by anger, rejected by the people, and surviving on fear instead of legitimacy.

@AnuarSaddat You supported him then . What has changed. If he's incapable then it means you are as Incompetent as your choice.
