@04tenno well the ending of kiwami 3 of this split canon storyline did ruin yakuza 4 all thanks to the daidoji, indirectly stopping Hamazaki from gutting kiryu with a knife. and if yakuza 9 is set in this daidoji new universe, then it would not make any sense at all.
