Genuinely humbled by the enthusiastic reception of dualSTAKE. This is a niche offering, catering to ASAs & their communities, and it would have been dead in the water if the target audience were indifferent. In public and on-chain we saw coopALGO reaching stake limits like ⚡ that, and the coop community donating enough $COOP into its dualSTAKE farm to briefly spike coopALGO's APR to 90% (The fact that this was in part fueled by the ancient human custom of messing with your friends is only gravy to the lore) oraALGO uptake was also incredibly positive, with 110K+ ALGO staked and another community-provided farm set up permissionlessly through our frontend. This is what we had in mind when we designed the farms like this. In private we're receiving more and more requests for dualSTAKE tokens for your favorite ASAs, as well as positive feedback on the idea & experience. We deeply appreciate all of this. A small thing we'd like to address from today is some on-chain messaging pointing to coopALGO. We think this was done out of enthusiasm and in good faith, but we'd ask to please refrain from spamming transaction notes with pointers to Myth Finance specifically. Not to preach too much but as an explanation of our position, this is why we think this is a net negative: 1/ First, domains or links in txn notes are almost exclusively used to phish or scam folks, so for users who have experienced this, it would be a negative impression of coopALGO. 2/ In the same vein, the practice of sending legitimate links via txn notes should not be normalized: novice users should not get accustomed to getting good info coming from a source that also brings a ton of scams. 3/ Finally, as enthusiastic as you may be about COOP or coopALGO, we think that sending these unsolicited is more likely to backfire on a neutral party's perception of both tokens, than serve as a funnel to broader adoption of them. Once again, we think this was done in excitement & we appreciate the sentiment, but not so much the delivery.
