This month, markets largely stayed flat, This turned out to be one of the strongest months for our portfolio, closing the month with a gain of 6.5%. Our total returns since the last financial year now stand at 52%, compared to the market’s single-digit performance during the same period. F&O contributed to roughly 1.2% and 5.3% from equities. Going aggressive from June onwards. Removed a safe strategy and increased size for the more rewarding ones. Not happy with the returns I am making with the fund used.

Wiped out all profits in just 10 mins at 2:25. Still figuring out when to book profits at discretion. It has become a habbit of market to show you a top and fall down immediately.

If you keep watching your MTM, you will be frustrated like myself.

Do you create exactly same strategies for Nifty and Sensex? Think again. The behaviour of both indexes on expiry is different. Sensex is more volatile than Nifty on expiries, so create accordingly.

If market trends and you are in profit, book your positions at 76450. Can think of a contra trade as well there.

@WealthyOptions1 Premiums are dirt cheap compared to how its moving. All theta are gone before expiries so nothing left for expiry traders.

For 300 straddle premium #sensex is making 200 points move for every 10 to 15 mins. Crazy choppiness in Sensex today. It already thrown inverse V shape and W shape, not sure what else it has in its kitty for rest of the day😨 one thing is sure, SENSEX premium behavior pretty bad for the same % underlying move compared to NIFTY ... unfortunately we hv to live with it🤷

@ANKYIIMR Unless you have a system and let it run. Not everyday is a profitable day but how a month or quarter ends matter.

Sensex Expiry is not tradable.. Period!! You show me whatever positive ROI backtesting, I won't believe it.

@Sachan8574 Because people dont have any experience for Agriculture. People tend to chose a profession what they studied for and have experience of.

Further Restructured. Successful in converting big loosing days of 0.7-0.8% to 0.2-0.3% by keeping same reward🔻 Eventually RR & RMDD increased. Just applied simple maths. Not changed or added new strategies. 🙏 One loosing month taught me many things to evolve 🚀

Tough expiries. Maybe because I constantly monitor it. These profits were seen before too, wiped out, then recovered back. I may have to keep booking profits now with my discretion. STBT: -3.5k 🔴 0DTE: +14.5k 🟢 1DTE (Sensex): +5.5k 🟢

I may have mentioned before. Based on live mkt experience, specifically on #Nifty delta neutral strategies, keeping Leg level SL based on Nifty spot movement works better than #Premium or combined premium based SL. For sudden moves one can keep a strategy level SL too.

Keep booking profits before it wipes out bcz wiping out is almost a sure shot thing now.

Expiry is all about SL Hit and Run.

@SumanMund6 @AlgoTest_in Must be with cheap premiums and lot of reentries. The live execution won’t match for such algos. You will find making a lot lesser returns with this in real.
