How does @Algorand define decentralization?
For us, decentralization means not to have to trust a centralized entity as the single source of truth in the network. The responsibility to run and maintain the network falls to ordinary users.

Yes. Gas fees on #Ethereum are just not an option. Wasted charitable dollars and damage to the environment. The move to #eth2 is necessary for us to work on Layer 1. For now our work is on Snapshot and Fiat currency until gas fees are history. I’m hopeful eth2 will come soon 🙏

@kimbal Sounds like a great way to fund charity's. Unfortunately I think you may find that the fees on #Ethereum will dramatically reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of charitable capital allocation If this turns out to be the case look into @hedera Speed, Security, Ultra Low Fees
