@TheRainbowStand @GemmaHodgetts8 Barring 3 unreal saves and a last minute equaliser too, we’d have 4 more wins
English

@AndyfromNewHamp Yeah think a move back stateside is his only realistic option if he does move on. Said for a while that he’s our best striker if he’s fit - on another day he has 2 more goals today. Comes across as such a genuinely good bloke too!
English

@Algore1990 When/now fit, he occupies defenders more than any other attacker we have, not convinced him and Heggebo can play together, but did better with Maja.
I’m certain there will be competition over here for his signature, depends on what he wants, as a free agent, in his hands now..
English

After that Oxford game you honestly couldn’t see where the next point was coming from. Players too have been quite rightly been battered, to put this run together takes a lot of bollocks from everyone. Fair play!!!

All jokes aside. How the fuck has James Morrison kept us in the league? Almost miraculous.
English

@BuzagloToBalis I wonder if they just say it out loud they’ll realise how ridiculous this is…
English

We need the prosecution to present their case really... #wba
English

@Fozza11_ @TheRainbowStand Do wonder if we’d even bother if we get 1 more point, like you say draw a line and move on but I suppose it’s the principle etc. no idea how much but would imagine impacts prize money a bit on league finish too?
English

@TheRainbowStand I think if we get the point we need to guarantee safety, we might just take the hit to get the matter closed.
IMO we should fight and prove a point. But I don’t think we will unless we dp get relegated.
English

When the season ends the club will fight it, they will win and everybody will see the EFL for the corrupt organisation that they are.

Full story on West Brom 2-point deduction for financial breaches. Albion insist breach was “under £2m” and are understood to be unhappy with the speed of the sanction #wba telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…
English

@TheDelaney24 Be typical #AlbionThat to appeal, get it rejected and increased to 3 points and go down by a point 😂
English

@shaun3_ One deliberately spends tens of millions over the threshold to gain sporting advantages leading to promotion with the quite clear intention of avoiding punishment. Another pays wages of staff helping disabled kids play football. Difference is 4 points, are you alright?
English

@Algore1990 You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The precedents have already been set before you. Leicester's points deduction was based on the adjusted losses based on Birmingham's deductions before you and already written thresholds of losses. Same with yours.
English

@Algore1990 Why would you the precedent be set on this occasion? Countless other team have had points deductions before you.

So a club can sell its hotel to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, but West Brom are punished, they believe, for legitimate “in-kind” donations to the Albion Foundation, its charity partner that saves lives. Albion also believe the alleged PSR breach is “less than £2m”
West Bromwich Albion@WBA
West Bromwich Albion Football Club has released the below statement following publication of an EFL Club Financial Review Panel (CFRP) decision. 👇

#wba fined 2pts for £2m overspend, much of which was charity work which the EL retrospectively punished.
Chelsea guilty of 36 separate illegal payments of £48m for players like Hazard, Willian, Matic, Luiz which helped them win trophies.
No points deduction or transfer ban.
English

@Algore1990 @CaScr1v @EFL Correct, the rules were changed AFTER we made the donations to the Foundation. You couldn’t make it up
English

@DaveThomas79 Fuck knows, statement says less than £2m which could be anything haha
English

@lefeaverwba That first fuck the EFL tomorrow is going to hit like crack
English

February 28th: West Brom lost 2-1 at Oxford, a gutless display that left us without a win in 11 games and a point above relegation.
April 21st: 8 points clear of relegation, a 3-0 home win, 9 unbeaten, 6 clean sheets out of 7.
Mozza is a miracle worker. Give him the job. #wba
