Todd Blanche, the Acting Attorney General and Donald Trump’s former personal criminal defense lawyer, signed a one-page order demanding the IRS drop every existing audit of Trump, his family, and their “affiliates.” One of those audits reportedly could have cost Trump more than $100 million. The Treasury Department’s top lawyer resigned over it. The acting top IRS lawyer had to recuse himself because he previously represented Trump in his tax cases. There is no precedent for an Attorney General ordering an end to audits of a group of taxpayers. Many experts say the Attorney General has no authority to do this. So we have a likely illegal order, signed by the President’s former lawyer, on behalf of the President, protecting the President. And the only people with jurisdiction to investigate it work for the President. I will fight this with every tool I have.

You can do the math on two hands. I got a call cancelling their date a week before. “We have an emergency placement.” My disappointment disappeared in a heartbeat. An emergency placement means a DDS client has no where to go. Because? On Tuesday, I was grocery shopping and saw the Respite House manager buying bananas. We greeted. “Our individual loves bananas.” “He’s still there?” I said. “Yes, three weeks.” “Did a parent die?” “Yes.” I nodded. Kept shopping for three beautiful women who themselves might become Respite House emergency placements. I’ve broached this topic with DDS and our agency top management. There are zero systems in place. Families have to cobble together plans on a wing and a prayer. Can you rely on family to take over? Can you put your faith in the private group home system? Sad. Presuming competence is the least dangerous assumption. No one said a nonspeaking person has to be revealed as secretly intelligent to deserve dignity. That is whoever runs this account's twisted interpretation. What is the motivation of this group to destroy something that is improving lives? Guilt? Guilt they're not willing or able to give their own children the benefit of the doubt? That they are competent & much more capable than we were told by the "experts". Jealousy? HHS Secretary Becerra just issued a PREP Act declaration for bird flu. This allows the FDA Commissioner to issue EUAs for bird flu vaccines, with no liability. The US government has ordered 4.8 million doses of bird flu from the CSL Sequirus company, produced in dog kidney cells and using a dangerous squalene-containing adjuvant. The AMA issued CPT codes for this vaccine last Friday, so doctors could be reimbursed for administering it. There have been a total of 11 cases of bird flu in the US since 2022, all mild, most involving just conjunctivitis. None were shown to have been transmitted human-to-human. Why would you need this vaccine, unless you expected a much more virulent virus to appear which had mysteriously gained the ability to spread between humans? @SecKennedy Bobby, I remember so many inspiring strategy discussions during your campaign. Providing liability protection to corporate interests for a virus that killed 3 people out of 7 billion was not one of them.

In 1998, I was fired from my corporate job while 9 months pregnant because and I quote, “my priorities would be elsewhere after the baby is born.” The lawyer I hired told me I didn’t have a case because discrimination like “that” was almost impossible to prove. So I got pissed. Took the LSAT. Went to law school. Passed the bar. Had 3 more kids. Twelve years later, another woman from that same company was fired for the same reason. She sued them for a million dollars, and won, partly because I had kept every piece of evidence from what happened to me years prior demonstrating a systemic pattern of discrimination against women. That company no longer exists. My law practice is thriving. And that baby they said would derail my priorities? She’s a brilliant attorney now working at my firm. Turns out my priorities were indeed, elsewhere.
