I have zero respect for any AI advocate who does not address the serious environmental issues involved. We cannot continue to ignore what we are doing to the actual physical world we live in.

@sean_gause No one is going to pull the pencils out of your hands and force you to use AI. But if you are doing it that way for your own enjoyment you should not view the result as inherently superior. I still draw with pencil when I feel like it. Or when AI struggles with an idea.

The AI debate is difficult because one side views art as a product to be delivered as fast as possible. It's like going to a lake and telling fisherman that it's "more efficient" to buy fish from the grocery store. They aren't just there for the fish.
