@HM_Passport I don’t know if this will help people, but we were told that upgrade team would look at cases that were within 14 days of travel as a priority. Email evidence of holiday booking to durhamupgradeteam@hmpo.gov.uk if within 14 days. We still had to chase as well.

@Alhadria @HM_Passport We sent my daughters renewal off 22nd Feb, still not been sent to examiner. We missed our holiday last week. Don’t want to be negative but I don’t think you’ll get your passports back. It’s so so sad, they need to sort themselves out xx

@HM_Passport sisters wedding is in Sweden in 10 days. Applied for passport 31st March. Just says in process since 7 April. Calling and emailing every day- no response- on hold for hours. Need to upgrade to fast track. Thinking of just turning up to office in person. Any advice?

They should prioritise and print for you to collect at your local office. Do you have their email address or need me to share? X

@DavidELever @HM_Passport We actually got through to someone and they said they were transferring to upgrade team. I was then on hold for 3 Hours and then cut off because it was after 8pm. @HmPassport shambles. Holiday is 14th May

And then as it took me to after 8pm they cut me off as office was closed 😡

@passportwaiting Why are they now processing applications quickly for people who applied in April, when there are still people outstanding from February and March?
