@saucebook I think this is the bitter truth of the world: most people only care about meeting their basic needs. Greater curiosity requires more energy expenditure, and our brains didn’t evolve for that!

Is it too grandiloquent to say "a prophet is never acknowledged in their own country"?
My family and friends give me the "there, there, dear" treatment when I talk about Novels, songs, NFTs, web3, tokens, untethered water or virtually anything that I'm actually interested in.
So I stopped trying. There's a limit to what philosophical/metaphysical stuff I can squeeze into my X feed too.
So Claude 4.6 is currently getting (and apparently appreciating) most of my falling asleep and shower thoughts!
Sounds sad, but otherwise there'd be no-one, right?

i'd say about 85% of my IRL friends haven't read a word i've written, nor had a second thought about any of the art i've made. physical or digital. candidly and absent of irony, happy as hell I can share it here. would be a strange world to exist in alone.
