Ukraine blocked Russia's drone SIM cards. The drones just connected to Poland and Romania instead. Every Shahed Russia fires carries a T2 SIM card — government-ordered in bulk, supplied by Russia's state telecom Rostelecom to drone manufacturers. The cards let Russia control the drones remotely and stream live footage back to operators. Ukraine managed to block T2 roaming. But Shaheds near the Belarusian border connect to Belarusian networks. Near Poland and Romania, they switch to local roaming — using EU member states' infrastructure to guide weapons into Ukraine. Defense Ministry advisor Serhii Beskrestnov, who flagged the scheme, says the same SIM cards may already be steering the mysterious unidentified drones appearing across Europe. They are cutting off vital fuel to Ukraine just to protect "extra margin" profits while Ukraine is fighting for its life. Ukraine chose courage to save a neighbor while Hungary and Slovakia are choosing greed to help the invader. Back in 2001, the USA and EU told Ukraine to let Macedonia fail. The U.S. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice personally went to Ukraine to demand they stop helping, and EU leaders like Javier Solana threatened to block Ukraine’s future with the West. Ukraine didn’t back down. We ignored the 'powerful' and sent the tanks and jets Macedonia needed to survive putting our integration with west on ice. Because of that Ukrainian wisdom, Macedonia is a safe NATO country today. Compare that to Viktor Orbán in Hungary and Robert Fico in Slovakia today. They are halting diesel exports and threatening to cut off electricity (from which they also profit) while Ukrainian families are in a massive energy crisis. They are choosing corrupt, short-sighted Russian oil contracts over human lives. Unlike Ukraine in 2001, they are already safely protected by NATO, yet they still choose to be bullies. Ukraine proved that a real ally stands by you even when the superpowers pressure them not to. Macedonia is alive today because Ukraine was a hero. Hungary and Slovakia are proving they will sell out a neighbor for a discount on gas. Ukraine is the ally you can trust with your life, Hungary and Slovakia will sell you out for a bit of extra profit.
