A super casual and slang ones: "To adult", like, "I can't adult today". It just means daily and monotonous responsibilities. "I don't really want to adult today…" meaning that you don't want to do your responsibilities and would rather play. A personal few favorites: "To shirk", it means to sneak or to evade. "You shirked that, didn't ya?" Meaning they avoided something, usually an obligation, but it can be anything. "Shirked that crowd." A squirrel, when flying, could shirk humans by flying from tree to tree.

@flying_sqrr In English, it was called NexusTK and release around 1996 or so. In Korea, it was called Baram! What crazy memories of such an old game. 😊

Please forgive me, the last time I thought about this was over a decade ago, I used to play a video game that incorporated this into it's lore. Seeing your posts has brought back a lot of memories. I had to think of "metal" as being the rigidity and structure that the nurturing of earth provides, and temperament from level of focus and structure that metal provides allows you to become fluid and wise like water. I agree with you, the rest of the cycle is very easy to imagine in nature, but metal? Oh well...

@AliMayXIV これ、陰陽五行説の木火土金水についてなのですが、木は燃えたら火になる、火は灰になって土になる、土の中には金がある、水を栄養に木が育つ、というのは分かるのですが、金から水が生成されるという部分だけなんか違和感あるんですよ。
