@PolegateTown Great game and was nice to get my first goal for the club….

Despite a depleted squad for our early kick off vs Ansty, our 2nds came away with a 4-3 win in our penultimate pre-season friendly. Goals coming from Ramkin, Elliot, Ricky and Ali. A good 90mins for a lot of players and a chance for new players to impress. Well done lads.

@PolegateTown I’m sorry but this is wrong, I don’t have Facebook or Twitter and I gave the club my details on first day of the new training session (3rd July) so a text message via WhatsApp I would’ve received and known of the change if I was sent one…..

@AliRah1981 All players we have contact details for were informed via WhatsApp, with social media posts on Facebook and Twitter both on Monday and Tuesday regarding the change of location. Apologies if you did not see either post.

Training as usual tonight but change of location. Still 6:45pm but meeting at Treasure Island car park for a fitness session. New players are welcome to come along.

Another tough match for Town as our 2nds lost 1-7 vs Valley Rovers Old Boys. A wet and windy evening didn’t make it great footballing conditions but another 90mins of fitness. Thanks to Valley Rovers for hosting us this evening and we wish them well for the season ahead.

So today after 7 months of planning @StagecoachSE finally said goodbye to 34732 as it was donated to Oakwood by Primary School, Headteacher Ryan Laker said we hope to turn it into a Forest School classroom... We hope they have as much fun in it as we did driving it...

PGMOL can confirm its Chief Refereeing Officer Howard Webb has contacted both Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion to acknowledge and explain the significant errors in the VAR process in their respective Premier League fixtures on Saturday.
