Martin has the wired intake ducts, as used by Pirro at Mugello. F1 aero expert @AliRouse16 says they are debris deflectors, but he also says, "you can measure air temperature by the resistance of thin wires being cooled by air, if you know the speed"

1) Here's a brilliant pic to explain latest gen aero in Moto GP. Aero downforce is a vector from the devices CoP (centre of pressure) down, when a bike leans there are now both both downwards and outwards components to those vectors. With the 'wings' mostly pushing out #MotoAero

@McGettrickDamo @matoxley I did a very similar thing for my A level project at college (pre university), made a cardboard wind tunnel, my own wing from bulsa wood on an adjustable mount sitting on a pair of scales, adjusting angle of attach measuring load and drag! sent me down this path lol

@matoxley @AliRouse16 Thank you I did Auto Eng in College Design interested me & Aero was my 2nd year end project College had a crude wind tunnel out of air con ducting & used RC cars as test Plasticine to fill intakes, windows etc to smooth it into "clay" model & did get different results 👌
