Police intensified their arrest of Afg refugees in Pak. Yesterday, they pursued refugees in Killa Saifullah dist in Quetta. When refugees fled in orchards, Police opened fire on them in 3 villages. They have been there as legal refugees 4 the past 45 years. Why?#UNHCRPakistan

@Refugees also urges @GovtofPakistan to ensure Afghans with reasons to remain in Pakistan (i.e. higher education, marriage to Pakistanis and medical concerns…) can do so, and crucially that those with continued international protection needs are exempted from the IFRP.

Without issuing prior notice, #Pak began deportation of Afghans possessing refugees' legal docs, saying their stay was unlawful henceforth. The deadline given to them in 2024 ended on 31th of June 2025. Why are they #illegal refugees? #UNHCR?: dawn.com/news/1928436

Sources in Kila Saifullah district of Balochistan province told me that Pakistani police began force arrestments of Afghan refugees in the district this afternoon.

Eye witnesses in Daman district of #Kandahar say that the IEA police have been searching poppy fields in the district. They go inside residential compounds, if they find the crop to eradicate.

At least, a good news among no goodnews. IEA's Supreme Leader ordered the Supreme Court to establish a special court for evaluating the pensions of retirees.
