@SamsungUK what do I have to do for the company to address an issue I have with new tv? Multiple telephone conversations to call centre and lodged formal complaint last week but still nothing. And no online complaints system it seems.

@HiveHomeUK 2 hours on on WhatsApp chat and now 45mins on hold to speak to someone to sort out what should be a very simple matter. Very poor customer care .

@PatLynch93 I used to work for an ambulance trust. My manager came in literally beaming that a complaint had come in. She was disappointed to find, very quickly the whole incident had been picked up on camera. Some managers just enjoy harassing staff.

So in May I received a complaint in work. An untraceable person wrote that I discharged them from A+E and then tried to contact them to meet outside the hospital. I was completely banned from working and had to write a statement, despite having proved it to be fake…

@UPS your delivery arrangements and communications are not adequate. Your app does not allow alteration of delivery arrangements when you have let down customers down and your standard response to my concern does not address the issues. Please rectify.

Having spent a week on the ward, I honestly think we (Physicians) obsess about hyponatraemia. For me, it often just a consequence of the disease (heart failure etc). As long as Na levels are >115, I suspect significant harms are unusual. I’m tending to ignore it more & more.

Today, with huge thanks to Ealing Hospital, we planted a tree - the UK’s only memorial to NHS staff who have died by suicide. May they rest in peace, and may we redouble our efforts to stop it happening ever in the future. 3/3

Lots of people tweeted me afterwards saying they’d been to Ealing and looked for the tree, then felt silly when they realised it didn’t exist. I didn’t think it was silly - I thought there should be a memorial to healthcare professionals who have taken their own lives. 2/3

Here’s a nice thing. The TV version of This Is Going To Hurt is all about the mental health of doctors, and culminates with the death by suicide of a junior doctor called Shruti (spoiler alert). There is a scene where a tree is planted in her memory, shot at Ealing Hospital. 1/3
