@AliceSkary The way I see this meme/format is that the negative person misses who he used to be, such as moving into a line of work he hates - the positive person is proud that he got out of whatever situation he was in and is a changed person

Question about this "follower purge" you folks have noticed... So... is anyone you actually talk to gone? Can you think of a single account that interacts with you that's disappeared?

@RealRikochan That's what I figured at first! But a whole bunch of folks are telling me on the threads I started they know real actual people who got deleted =(

@AliceSkary Tellingly, I noticed that my follower gain/loss thing in the premium stats doesn’t reflect all these changes…I tend to believe the theory that it’s bots that are getting axed

A lot of interesting responses here. I actually don't know anyone that's lost an account. However, I'm not very active on here lately so maybe I just don't know who did lose an account yet.

So here's a question: Is the "purge" on X only impacting NSFW accounts / followers of NSFW or is it impacting any SFW/vanilla accounts??? I don't have a vanilla X account to check.

@AliceSkary @NickMon76677485 Most are bot accounts or alt account🤷‍♂️ If the account is a main account used theres ways to get it back. Not the end of the world. Most users are panicking because all their alts are being deleted. From how I see it, users are crying about loosing bot followers.

R.E.M., The Cure, Nirvana, Björk, Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, Phish, Tracy Chapman, Boogie Down Productions. His first recording of Nirvana was July 8, 1989 at a tiny club called Dreamerz. Kurt Cobain was 20 years old. The band introduced themselves by saying they were from Seattle. This was two full years before Nevermind existed. That tape is now cleaned up and streaming for free. The digitization operation alone is wild. One volunteer drives to Jacobs' house monthly, picks up 10-20 boxes of 50-100 tapes each, runs them through 10 simultaneous cassette decks he repaired himself. 5,500 tapes digitized since late 2024. Dozens more volunteers across the US and Europe do mastering, metadata, and setlist verification. Sometimes they contact the actual artists to confirm what songs were played. The collection went from 171 recordings in January 2025 to over 2,300 by April 2026. At this rate it'll take years to upload everything. Spotify has 100 million tracks. Apple Music has 100 million. Not that I’ve noticed but I’m sure some have gone under the radar since I’m not actively looking. It seems like it’s primarily people that use retweet groups (which is technically against TOS) and people with auto tweets on. The crazy part is that I have had mutuals getting their accounts hacked and sending out spam links and those accounts aren’t getting investigated when I report them! The support team at X just does not give a heck.

@sirensaintsin Yeah.... Mouths are disgusting. But it's more like a good reason to have good oral hygiene. Regular flossing nightly (not right before sex), dental cleanings every six months, and always use an antibacterial mouthwash 20 minutes before you may get intimate.
