Leadership Update-from Spring ISD✨ Dr. Brandi Brotherton has been named Assistant Superintendent of Academics She brings over 22 years of experience in education, specifically in leadership, instruction, curriculum design, advanced academics, and accountability systems. Most recently, she served as Director of Advanced Academics and Post-Secondary Outcomes at Alief ISD, where she led district-wide initiatives to increase student enrollment in advanced courses, improve AP exam passing rates, and drive College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) outcomes. Dr. Brotherton has also served as principal of Alief Early College High School, guiding the campus to multiple state and national recognitions, including National Blue Ribbon School and Texas #1 Gold Ribbon School by Children at Risk. She previously held leadership roles as associate principal and Advanced Academic Officer at Alief Elsik High School, and began her career as a teacher and coach— earning numerous awards for excellence in teaching and leadership, including Alief ISD Secondary Principal of the Year. She earned her Doctorate in Educational Administration and Innovation from St. Thomas University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership/Leadership of Learning from Abilene Christian University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University. #letswork
