I think the explanation for why they were so good at air bending even though they just got it was that they were already excellent fighters before bending. Sort of like how Zaheer was good almost right away.

I watched it. That movie was made for the big screen, absolutely incredible. If I didn’t watch it now it would have been completely spoiled from people posting about it everywhere. ATLA is THE most important media to me ever and I would have paid to see it in theatres 5+ times, it’s that good.

I've watched @LuigiVenditelli's S4 documentary, and every Bob Lazar interview that's come out in the past couple of weeks. In my opinion, @AlchemyAmerican's is hands down the best of them all. But I think my favorite part was Jesse's dozen-plus minute digression into explaining the exotic properties of Bismuth, which sits just above Moscovium (The now-named "Element 115" Lazar says powered the craft he was studying) and should share many of the same properties. I can see how much work went into this explainer. They spent so much time (and money) on the graphics and explanation. I don't have the science background to fully absorb all of this at the level of true comprehension, but I'm nerdy enough to have found it absolutely riveting: (Link to full podcast in reply)

Man.... I REALLY hope the Avatar Aang movie gets that theatrical release it deserves, I'll admit I watched it and it's absolutely incredible I 10000% want to watch it in theaters and will still watch it when it comes out officially to support the work

#Aangthelastairbender is a poignant commentary on Israel. The villain (Taga) is an Air bender who wants to bring back the air nation, but not just that, he wants to establish an “air empire” that can “protect itself” against the other nations. To do so, he is willing to wipe out everyone in republic city, which he will build his “temple” on. Aang opposes his plans because it is cruel and it goes against the very ideals of air nomad culture. I am surprised more people are not calling out the obvious parallels. Could this be why Paramount has shafted this movie? Because the themes form a critique of modern Israel and their war crimes against the Palestinians and their neighbors in the name of self preservation?

You basically have to watch the new Aang movie now to avoid the entire thing getting spoiled for you. Unfortunately, the genie is fully out of the bottle.

As much as I’ve been rooting for the ATLA movie, I genuinely think it’s too late you guys. That entire movie has leaked in 4k with zero watermarks or blurry scenes and good sound quality. From beginning to end. Several scenes have leaked on here and full blown conversation amongst the fandom has already begun, for good and bad. Expecting people to just be hush hush about it, even with Paramount getting off their asses just now and shooting the videos down? Is just not reasonable anymore. I think the only way to salvage this whole situation is for Paramount to just officially release their movie this week or next week. Release a trailer tomorrow or Wednesday and the movie on Friday. Atleast give this movie the dignity of an official home screening. Waiting until October now where conversation and intrigue has drawn out is gonna leave this movie dead in the water. Release the film early, and maybe allow the fans to boost its views and recognition to give it an almost KPop Demon Hunters impact that could atleast have a chance of limited theatrical release. Because, genuinely, the animation here is Oscar worthy.
