More than 650 people have been executed in Iran only in 2026!

Sardar Azmoun, one of the top Iranian players, was purged off the national team by the IRGC, and is currently having his assets stolen for daring to challenge the islamic regime. Two other Iranian players were also taken off the team by the IRGC over politics. This is why calling them Team IRGC is simply factual, because the IRGC is fully in charge whether they like it or not.
