I’ve been spending time at synagogues, Chabad, and young professional events across our neighborhood, meeting Jewish residents and listening to their concerns at a time when many feel increasingly targeted and unsafe. That is why I’m running on both the Republican line and my independent line, Block Mamdani. Safety is bipartisan, and our community deserves a State Senator who is visible, accessible, and who actually listens. After 24 years of stagnant leadership from an incumbent who endorsed Zohran Mamdani, it is time for new leadership and a stronger voice for Manhattan’s East Side. I’m not a politician... I’m your neighbor, and I’m ready to be your voice in Albany. Vote Alina Bonsell for New York State Senate on November 3, 2026. 🇺🇸✡️ #AlinaBonsell #AlinaForNY #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #Manhattan

As the child of immigrants who came to this country legally, and as someone who was raised, educated, and has worked and paid taxes in NY, I believe our government has a responsibility to put its own citizens first. & Watch Part 2 for my belief on what is a practical and humane solution. #AlinaForNY #AlinaForNYSenate #AlinaBonsell #NewYork #Manhattan #part1

💸 I believe in cutting taxes, not raising them. If you're under 25 and working, you should keep what you earn and pay no New York State income tax while you build your future. Parents with young children face enormous childcare costs and deserve tax relief during those early years. Our seniors built this state. Taxing only the first $20,000 of pension income is outdated and should be increased at least threefold to reflect today’s cost of living. New Yorkers don’t have a spending problem... Albany does. 🍎 #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #District28

People ask me all the time... how do you plan to beat an incumbent who has been in Albany for 24 years? My answer is simple. What do we have to show for it? Garbage on our streets. Rats. People pushed onto subway tracks. Families and children who no longer feel safe in their own neighborhood. District 28 sends enormous tax dollars to Albany and is home to some of the best hospitals, schools, and cultural institutions in the world. We deserve a far better return on that investment. After 24 years, if these problems are still getting worse, it's time for new leadership. That is why I'm running. 🗽 #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #YourNeighborYourVoice #District28 #ElectionDayNovember3

What happened outside Park East Synagogue should concern every New Yorker. Jewish residents should not have to walk through crowds praising terror groups or calling for violence outside a house of worship. That crosses a line. We can support free speech without tolerating intimidation, harassment, chaos, or threats in our streets. Public safety matters, and so does protecting people’s right to practice their faith without fear. Thank you to the NYPD officers who worked under difficult conditions to keep the situation from escalating further. This Nov 3rd , I’m running for New York State Senate as the Republican candidate and on the independent Block Mamdani line because this city needs leadership willing to stand up for safety, order, and common sense. #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #AlinaBonsell #AlinaforNY

New York has a spending problem… and no clear plan to fix it. • Deficit framed as unsolvable without new taxes • Shift toward broader tax increases, including property taxes • ~$1.9B in no-bid hotel contracts • ~$1.2B on asylum programs • ~$5.39B spending increase in one cycle • ~$127B total budget • ~$82K+ per homeless individual annually, with worsening outcomes • $30M government supermarket project • Continued expansion during a budget crisis Bottom line… rising deficit + rising spending = higher taxes and more pressure on New Yorkers. The New York State Senate passes the state budget, sets tax policy, and approves the laws that impact every New Yorker… right now, it functions as a rubber stamp. What I stand for: • Tax cuts • Preventing taxpayer fraud and wasteful spending • Neighborhood first The current D28 @LizKrueger , supported and endorsed Zohran Mamdani and aligns with that same policy direction on spending, taxes, and government expansion. I’m running November 3rd for State Senate D28, Manhattan East… to bring common sense to Albany… long overdue. #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #alinabonsell

Volunteering doesn’t have to be complicated… it can be as simple as your building, your synagogue, your church, your school, or your daily routine. If you’re already around people, you can help us in a meaningful way. Just tell us how many pages you need… we’ll print everything and send it right out. Each page has 15 signature spots, so it adds up quickly. #AlinaForNY #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #Manhattan

What happened last night should shake everyone… no matter where you stand politically. Violence is never the answer. Period. Sadly, this was someone who chose the wrong path. He let people down… and violence against our country’s leader was never going to fix anything… regardless of the outcome. If you want change… you show up, take on leadership, and fight to change things the right way. #AlinaForNY #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #Manhattan

Cole Allen’s Manifesto Hello everybody, I may have given a lot of people a surprise today, so let me start by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused. I apologize to my parents for saying I had an interview without specifying it was for “Most Wanted.” I apologize to my colleagues and students for saying I had a personal emergency, though by the time anyone reads this, I will likely need to go to the ER, and it would be difficult to call that anything but self-inflicted. I also apologize to the people I traveled next to, the workers who handled my luggage, and the other non-targeted people at the hotel who I put in danger simply by being near. I apologize to everyone who was abused or murdered before this, to those who suffered before I was able to attempt this, and to all who may still suffer after, regardless of my success or failure. I do not expect forgiveness, but if I could have seen any other way to get this close, I would have taken it. Again, my sincere apologies. I am a citizen of the United States of America, and what my representatives do reflects on me. I am no longer willing to permit what I see as wrongdoing to continue in my name. To be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first real opportunity I have had to act. While discussing this, I will also go over my expected rules of engagement. Administration officials, not including Mr. Patel, are considered targets, prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest. Secret Service would only be engaged if necessary, ideally in a non-lethal way if possible. Hotel security, Capitol Police, and the National Guard would not be considered targets unless they engaged first. Hotel employees and guests would not be targets at all. In order to minimize casualties, I would use buckshot rather than slugs to reduce penetration through walls. Even so, I acknowledge that reaching intended targets could put others at risk, and I recognize the implications of that. There are objections people may raise. Some may say, as a Christian, I should turn the other cheek. I believe that applies when one is personally oppressed, not when witnessing harm done to others. Others may say this is not a convenient time, but I believe urgency overrides convenience. Some may argue that not everyone responsible would be reached, but I would say that action has to begin somewhere. Others may question whether I am the right person to act, and my response is that I do not see others stepping forward. As for yielding to authority, I believe authority must still follow the law. I would like to express appreciation to many people, knowing I may not have the opportunity to do so again. Thank you to my family, both personal and church, for your love over the past 31 years. Thank you to my friends for your companionship, to my colleagues for their professionalism, and to my students for their enthusiasm and love of learning. Thank you to the many acquaintances I have met, in person and online, for your perspectives and inspiration. Thank you all for everything. Sincerely, Cole “coldForce” Allen After setting aside the formal tone, I questioned the lack of security I observed. There was little visible presence in transport, at the hotel, or at the event itself. Security appeared focused externally rather than anticipating internal risks. This lack of awareness stood out immediately and struck me as deeply concerning. It raised questions about preparedness and competence. Reflecting on the experience itself, it felt overwhelming and distressing, filled with regret, anger, and the realization of consequences. It is not something I would recommend. Stay in school. #AlinaForNY #AlinaForNYSenate #WeWinTogether #Manhattan #coleallen @realDonaldTrump

A lifelong Democrat, Harvard Law professor, and one of the most recognized legal minds in the country… now registering as a Republican. Not because he suddenly agrees with everything on the right, but because he believes the Democratic Party has moved too far from the center. You don’t have to agree with every position to understand what this signals. More and more people are realizing this isn’t the same Democratic Party it once was… and they’re willing to cross lines over it. This isn’t about party loyalty… it’s about where the party is heading. #WeWinTogether #AlinaBonsell #AlinaForNYSenate #AlinaForNY #ManhattanEast

Mamdani is pushing for regulations on companies like Amazon that would limit their use of subcontractors and require more direct employment with benefits, and potentially union alignment. That’s essentially government stepping in to dictate how these companies operate. The pushback isn’t that Amazon would stop delivering altogether, it’s that they’d shift operations… moving warehousing and logistics just outside the city, whether that’s nearby states or other regions. That would mean fewer jobs for New York City residents, less local investment, and likely slower delivery times and reduced efficiency overall. #WeWinTogether #AlinaBonsell #AlinaForNYSenate #AlinaForNY #ManhattanEast

I’m not for targeting anyone… not the wealthy, not any group. That’s not how you run a city. We need policies that bring in investment, create jobs, and actually improve daily life… safer streets, responsible development, and neighborhoods people want to stay in such as District 28, Manhattan East Side. #AlinaForNYSenate #AlinaForNY #WeWinTogether #BlockMamdani #District28
