Ss in @Norwoodteach have a clear understanding of what they are supposed to know and be able to do. LTs, modeling, thinking aloud, and providing timely feedback are just a few of the tools she uses to enable her students to reach mastery of standards. @cburgelem @TcboeE

Thinking critically, problem solving, creating, communicating, and collaborating, just a few of the essential skills we were working on today during clubs. Ss had a blast creating and testing their balloon rockets!

Ss were STEAMing it up during the Mad Scientist Club with challenges related to Matter! We ASKED, “What will happen if we mix baking soda and vinegar inside of a container with a 🎈 on top?” K, 1, and 2 students learned it creates a gas and blows up the 🎈 . @cburgelem @TcboeE

When a teacher comes to RtI meetings with two computers😂, you know they are serious about moving student data and this is so true for Mrs. Richardson! @patti_rich3 @cburgelem @TcboeE

A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Laurence Cooper from @Mcwane for joining us today for Club Day! The virtual field trip using #Googleexpeditions was AMAZING!! Students learned so much and loved every minute! @cburgelem @TcboeE

No boundaries to learning today. @cburgelem Ss traveled virtually around the world from the Brazilian Rainforest to Mount Everest, from the depths of the ocean to outer space. My favorite comment from a 1st grader, “This is like being in a time machine!” @Mcwane @TcboeE

Ss in @patti_rich3 class have hands out ready to receive what is being dictated, just one of the five steps in dictation. This consistent practice and reinforcement leads to accurate and fluent decoding of text. Thanks, Mrs. Rich, for allowing me to learn from you! @TcboeE

“Voice and choice” on how to sit during whole group instruction?? Yes, in @CollinsSamena class! Mrs. C. is also focusing on and reinforcing students WHO ARE following expectations and procedures! #creating a positive learning environment!
