My town's RPG guild has only one game running next Sunday, and only one player signed up, and I guess this is the inevitable end point of not catering exclusively to only D&D.... :(

@AlisonCybe Eh, I don't really hold this against Jessie because she doesn't really try to throw this around. She's just RESPONDING to someone using that logic to try and negate HER opinion. So it's just pointing out that they're wrong even by their own logic.

I really hate the way fandom boils arguments down to "I possess more loyalty to a franchise designed to extract money from people, and can prove that by showing how much money I have given the corporations that own that franchise."

Every other person who you ask why they're not playing at our city's last, dying club; "Oh well Sundays aren't good for me". Why the fuck did you sign up then? Back in the day, if you wanted to play, you MADE IT along. But guess being mainstream made it easy to just not.

OP is THIS closer to figuring out allegory, why medieval Kings had dragons on their banners and why there are stories about people killing them, but most people will go "nah, it's not that deep bro, the curtains are blue" and just not get it at all.

Honestly, let's be honest here. We've seen chibi's behaviour towards strangers online and heard his views. Do you really think someone who acts like that would have a group of close friends? Nah. They were his friends' friends, and he was the creepy weirdo they put up with.
