On Saturday some of the wonderful Reconnect and Enhanced Reconnect team enjoyed a day of paddleboarding 🏄 sadly I missed this but will be at our next team day out!

@CraigKelly90 Totally agree l. The numbers being released early before now is seeing people being left in the worst of situations ..it’s appalling . And those services there to help are helpless in the circumstances they’re faced with ..that needs addressing urgently

@AlisonForeman12 Its the amount being released that concerns me... especially coming off an evening on the streets talking to a lad whose first experience on homelessness was leaving the prison gates. Release is needed and inevitable, but major work on support is needed urgently.

I am not going to get involved in the debate about if prisoners should be released, but I do have one question to pose Where is this exodus being released to? Will we see a huge influx of men abandoned at the gate and homeless? Do cities have resources to cope? Do Probation?
