Hastings reveals himself to be the bullying perpetrator we've witnessed the last 3 days. He accused those of us in the public gallery of thinking this is all a 'joke'. It's filled with women abused by #spycops & others spied upon who most definitely do not think this is a joke.

Mitting's interventions during the #spycops inquiry are usually noteworthy and this one was no exception. The misogynist hunt Hastings switched reluctantly to deferential mode, and yet it was for nothing as Mitting remained entirely unimpressed by the shameless victim blaming.

Maya is extraordinarily brave in giving all of her evidence, as distressing and graphic as it is. She is being forced to relive her trauma in order that the #spycops inquiry truly grasps the depravity of Robert Hastings' behaviour.

I cannot stress how distressing and horrible it is to hear the details of the way in which #spycops officer Robert Hastings used and abused Maya. Forgive me for not reporting all the gory details, suffice to say, it is very graphic and he is a total bastard.

It's hard to put into words how abusive these on-duty, police officer #spycops were towards the women they preyed upon. And as we've said several times, just when you think you've reached the bottom of the barrel, we realise there's yet more slime down there.
