@designed_future @YoungXBlackk @DeadbyDaylight I know that it is already possible but the reason reShade is not getting you banned is because you can't cheat with it. If a tool similar to reShade would exist for audio, then it would most definitely be a bannable offense to have it installed which would make the tool useless.

Which honestly you can do NOW with the proper audio filters. Simple kludge: run audio output through VLC, and use the Equalizer to max out the frequencies corresponding to breathing / footsteps, then check the "2-pass" box to make it even more obvious. (I don't play Spirit, just pointing out that security-by-obscurity is VERY easily broken here, once someone wants to) If people want to cheat, they'll find ways. VLC or an external equalizer box can make Spirit unstoppable.

What I don't understand is this: There's a video post-processor called Reshade. 100s of filter, literally millions of ways to transform video. Barely puts a load on the GPU. Why isn't there an AUDIO post-processor? Something that takes the sounds being fed to the audiocard, and substitute-tables them with another sound sample. "Input: vomit4.wav <> output: Sneeze4.wav." and instead of throwing up, your character sneezes. Doesn't affect gameplay. Doesn't give any cheating benefits. Completely and utterly solves the emetophobia / static intolerance issue for affected users. Call it ReSound. Free idea.
