The horrors in Palestine are allowed bc the notion of indigenous savages has been allowed to flourish in settler narratives for centuries. We’re supposed to believe the settler/colonizer is the protagonist & the antagonist/“terrorist” is the native who resists.

On Friday kids had to urgently evacuate the Islamic College of Brisbane after a bomb threat. A third of the school’s 1700 students did not turn up for classes yesterday as fear rippled through the community. On Sunday night a 'suspicious device' detonated in a mosque on the Gold Coast, leading to charges. Now imagine the news if this was a Jewish school and Synagogue.
