Poor little Spoon, you are still over-grooming due to your dust mite allergy; you have a bare little patch under your foreleg and I have to prevent that becoming worse; as a result, I am sorry that you have to wear this baby-gro type outfit; I am further sorry that for reasons of perspective your tail looks weirdly huge in this photo; you are not having much of a day, are you, much-loved little Spoon?

I'm sorry, little Spoon; the vet said that you had to wear this blue cone for the next few days until the small wound on your belly heals up; the other cats are all hissing at you & I suspect you're quite cross at me right now; at least the cone shows off your dear little whiskers very well, much-loved convalescent Spoon

Immunotherapy update: long-time Spoon enthusiasts will remember, perhaps, that there was a point where little Spoon had no fur on his belly, and very little on his legs, due to over-grooming related to a dust mite allergy. After about 10 weeks of immunotherapy, isn't he looking velvety? Happy Spoon!

Good morning, little Spoon. Some of your online admirers, of whom you are possibly unaware, wonder about the progress of your immunotherapy, intended to sort out your dust mite allergy. Happily, two months on, it seems to be a success, with much less over-grooming. Thrive, much-loved little Spoon!

Good morning, little Spoon; I see you are communing with two old pictures and also Luna the cat; it is a rainy day, little Spoon, and the wind is very wild outside the windows; I will leave you to your own mysterious purposes, enigmatic little Spoon

Good afternoon, little Spoon; sometimes I wonder whether you sit on that seat under the window because you know it sets off your ears and whiskers to delightful effect; it is hard to know what you are thinking about at the best of times, luminous little Spoon
