Sending out some passes tonight on Query Manager. Again, my least favorite part of this job. If I decide to pass, it's for a variety of reasons. These reasons could include: I don't represent your genre. Your word count is too high. Your subject matter is outside of my interests. I am already shopping a similar project. Your book could use some more drafts. I don't know where I would place your project. The query letter is not well written. Etc. I appreciate and honor your commitment to see your publishing dream come true. Please don't give up! Keep moving forward and perhaps our paths will cross again. I hope to see you online and in all the bookish places.

Querying a novel while also going through infertility has been a special kind of awful, if anyone else is in the same boat I hope you get a full request today 😞
