@AliAbutalebi یه نگاه دیگه هم که میشه داشت اینه که “دو” بودن این قطعه به خاطر تعریف واحد طول هست. توی یه دنیای مواری همین قطعه می تونست سه “پتر” باشه و واسه سه تیکه کردنش دوشواری فلسفی نداشته باشی.

یک میلگرد یا الوار دو‌متری را می‌شود به سه قسمتِ دقیقاً مساوی تقسیم کرد (با صرف‌نظر از ضخامت ابزار برش البته)، اما عدد ۲ بر ۳ بخش‌پذیر نیست. 😬

Stalemate should not be a draw. It is not my problem that your king can’t move! Your king is in trouble and we can’t be called equal.

@KnippaChase @jeremiahscholl @GothamChess If you can't move into check then the rule change literally means nothing because you'd never be able to take a king anyway. Just word salad nonsense.

You should be able to capture the king in chess. It is absolutely stupid that it is not a rule already. How do we change this?

@AkhilVedas @KnippaChase @jeremiahscholl @GothamChess Traditional checkmate would be walking from one check to another and having the king captured next move (losing) Walking out of checks would be mandatory as your king will be captured next move (not because of legal reasons) Stalemate would similarly result in losing the game.

Image you walk into a check, it won’t be illegal, but your king will be captured next move and that is how you lose (not because of illegal move)
