Here’s the math they didn’t show you: 🔸 There are 11 million artists on Spotify 🔸 $11 billion divided by 11 million artists 🔸 That’s $1,000 per artist for the whole year 🔸 But the top 1% get 90% of all streams. 🔸 10.9 million artists split the remaining 10% That’s $100 each. For the whole year. And if your favorite artist didn’t hit 1,000 streams a month? Zero. $47 million quietly moved from independent artists straight into the pockets of major labels. $11 billion sounds like a lot. Until you know who actually got it.
