For two decades, Washingtonians have mourned the loss of our Sonics. Today’s vote is a milestone in the effort to bring NBA basketball back home.
The time is right. The state-of-the-art Climate Pledge Arena already hosts professional basketball and hockey with the Storm, Kraken, and Torrent in front of a dedicated fanbase. And we know we have the best fans in the NBA.
Bringing the Sonics back is a top priority, and the state will be a strong partner in this effort. I plan to be there at tipoff with thousands of fellow fans when the Sonics return.

Olsen is from BC which makes UW his closest high major program to home. Huskies certainly in the market for 6'8 forwards who are plus 3-point shooters even if there are concerns on defense.

Horrifying: The woman accusing Rams star WR Puka Nacua of BITING HER and saying "F**K ALL THE JEWS" has provided TMZ with evidence.
She claims that after dinner, they entered a Sprinter van where Nacua became “touchy-feely” and eventually bit her on the shoulder, breaking skin.
The alleged victim has filed for a temporary restraining order.
Nacua's attorneys have denied all claims.
