The regular PGA Tour broadcast has become almost unwatchable with the dreadful world feed, apart from Beemer and Radar of course. It's gutting to hear that the end of the road is approaching for you. Hopefully a few more majors yet.

Which big name player’s career would you think most differently about if they won the Players this weekend?

@MMcEwanGolf I'm not sure it is a blow. She's the presenter whose absence I notice the least when she isn't there. Iona would be a huge loss. For me, she should be the one to take over from Ewen Murray when he hangs up his mic. Superb golf knowledge and brilliant commentator.

A huge 'get' for LIV and a significant blow to Sky. Henni has become an exceptionally good broadcaster.

@MMcEwanGolf I watched the same round as you Michael, with my sons in tow, I'm glad they have had the chance to witness Tiger doing what he does. What a privilege it was to be sitting behind the postage stamp for that tee shot.

📆 Sunday, July 15, 2024 📍 Royal Troon Golf Club I took this photo of Tiger Woods whilst following his first practice round ahead of the 2024 Open. He played 18 holes on his own that day, hitting the ball so well that one of his security detail was compelled to break protocol and remark to me (with justification) about the quality of his ball-striking. He came within a couple of feet of having a hole-in-one on the famous 'Postage Stamp' eighth. He was relaxed and joked with caddie Lance Bennett about going clubbing in Sweden. He looked lean and healthy, a far cry from the bloated, sweaty, puffy figure he cut at the Masters months earlier. It was a pleasure to follow him at such close quarters, on such a bright summer's day, with only a smattering of other people. I can't shake the feeling it's the last whole round of his I'll watch in person.

@chiefsguy91 @JasonSobelGolf If both sides had received nothing as you had suggested, 13.5 is the number for Europe to retain. Shane's putt would still have been to reach it.

The envelope scenario is one thing. Here's another: Not many other sports where the defending champion retains the title with a tie. These are long-standing rules. This isn't sour grapes. Just wild that both of these situations could come into play today.

@chiefsguy91 @JasonSobelGolf 0 for both would have been exactly the same situation. It would have just meant the score Europe needed would've been 13.5 rather than 14. Considering that the one time the US used it, they won 14.5-13.5, it's a bit rich to be complaining about it now when it didn't even matter.

@AllSquareHalved @JasonSobelGolf Congratulations seriously. My whole point is that this specific rule is dumb. It's needs to be 0 points for everyone or 1 point for the other team.

It's official. #TeamEurope have officially won the Ryder Cup. The envelope rule not affecting the overall outcome, apart from costing us what could have been a full point. #RyderCup
